By downloading, installing, or using WA Backup ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
WA Backup is a free, open-source Android application that backs up WhatsApp encrypted database files from your device to your personal Google Drive account.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You use the App at your own risk. The developer is not responsible for:
— Loss or corruption of backup files
— Unauthorized access to your Google Drive account
— Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App
— WhatsApp or Google changing their services in ways that affect the App
— You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
— You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient Google Drive storage
— You are responsible for complying with WhatsApp's terms of service
— You should not rely on this App as your sole backup solution
The App requests access to your Google Drive to upload backup files. You can revoke this access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The App only accesses Google Drive file storage and cannot read your email, contacts, or other Google data.
Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or third parties.
WA Backup is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute the source code in accordance with that license.
WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Google Drive is a trademark of Google LLC. This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or Google.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and revoking Google Drive access. The developer reserves the right to discontinue the App at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
